Our Team

We are very proud of the diverse, compassionate team we have cultivated over the years. Our clinicians come with extensive experience, a wide variety of specialties, schools of thought, and skills. Our administrative staff continuously keep our whole operation together each day, welcoming everyone to our physical space, and ensuring all our patients' needs are met.

We also have two therapy dogs as part of our team as we strongly believe in the roles of pets in stress reduction and their therapeutic effects on our mental well-being.

 FOUNDER’S STATEMENT

My passion for listening to people and understanding their life stories drew me to the field of mental health. During my training and work in different healthcare systems, I experienced firsthand the many barriers to providers’ ability to care for our patients in a holistic way that centers the patient.

I began to envision a practice space where caring for the patient is at the heart of the treatment, where high-quality care is provided in an empathic, humanistic manner and patients are partners in their treatment planning. I wanted to create a practice space that cultivates therapeutic relationships with a whole person over symptom checklists. With that spirit in mind, I started my private practice in 2013. After a few years of solo practice, I brought together clinicians who shared my values and vision and together formed the Massachusetts Mind Center.

I am proud of the practice community MMC offers. We consider diverse components that impact mental wellbeing and all different ways that it can improve. We see each patient as a unique individual and approach each patient with unique treatment.

In the coming years, I hope to increase MMC’s impact by expanding our services to more people and growing our practice modalities and interventions to include art therapy groups, yoga for mental wellness, and other workshops, and partnering with other providers and community organizations.
