Elizabeth Spahn is a committed and empathetic psychotherapist with a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling and a concentration in Traumatic Stress Studies and Intervention Responses from Boston College. With a comprehensive background working in settings including an inpatient psychiatric unit, schools, and private mental health practices, Elizabeth has extensive experience in assisting clients with a wide range of mental health conditions, diagnoses, and backgrounds. 

Elizabeth is passionate about assisting individuals facing struggles with anxiety, depression, trauma/trauma responses, peer/family conflict, life transitions, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. Elizabeth enjoys working with those across various ages and backgrounds, curating the therapeutic space for the specific needs of each individual client. Elizabeth approaches therapy with clients through utilizing a trauma-informed, person-centered approach to foster a collaborative therapeutic experience that ensures a comfortable, personalized, and effective process.

Elizabeth believes that therapy is a vital resource for healing, self-growth, and empowerment, where individuals can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences in order to gain insight and develop strategies for coping with life’s many challenges. Elizabeth is committed to creating an empathetic and non-judgemental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and supported. Utilizing evidence-based techniques and a trauma-informed, person-centered approach, she aims to fortify clients to overcome adversity, build resiliency, and achieve their personal goals. Elizabeth is available for both in-person and telehealth appointments to accommodate the needs and preferences of her clients.
